Yes, you can make 900rwhp on a stock Supra block. Who is to say you can't do that with a Z32? We don't have any friggen turbo's that put out that kinda power, and it's so difficult and expensive to replace the Z shortblock most people don't want to push the envelope like that. There is stock VG30's running around pushing 600rwhp ya know. Secondly, about how strong the Supra block is the vail of secrecy surrounding it's "bulletproofness" has been lifted. You can run a dyno or two at 900rwhp but you are playing with fire. I don't think anyone runs that on the street where it's puts more stress on the engine. If you read the Supra want ads you'll see lots of cars with, "NEW SHORT BLOCK!". Well why did it need a new shortblock if it's so bullet proof? Probably all user error. :rolleyes: SW's Supra blew up, but he probably doesn't know what he's doing. Anyway ... I still don't think the Supra block is any better then the Z block. It's just cheaper and easier to replace. ;)
